We stockpile all year so we have enough to release a batch of these unique and special Mexican Ebony utensils, that we like to call "bacon strips". Well... the time has come for this year's batch and it's an epic one!

We were able to make a lots of Trifectas, Flat Saute Sets, Large Flat Sautes and Tera Scrapers! These are a very limited quantity! They never last long, so act fast! If you miss out on what you want... I guess you'll just have to wait another year!

Hey guys, this is Brad from Earlywood. We've got a huge selection of our bacon strips here. If you're not familiar, they're a special kind of wood or a special kind of sauté that comes from the Mexican ebony wood that we get. And we don't always have a lot of it so we save this up over a year or two and we get these really sweet two-tone utensils out of it. You can see here it's totally crazy looking, it's totally random, you never know quite what you're going to get out of a piece. And there's all kinds of really unique stuff going on here, so you can see that this one's basically half black and half white. This is a piece of Mexican ebony right here that will eventually get made into more of these. You can see at the end here, the end grain there that this is the middle of the tree. This was the tree here, it's black that's called the Heartwood and then this out here between the bark and the Heartwood is called the sapwood and we intentionally make these out of that line right there because they just look so sweet. So you can see that one probably came from about there. We've got a sauté here this one you know something like that and then a lot of the spreaders that are coming in these are straight yellow. So this black is Mexican ebony, this yellow is Mexican ebony, this is just the sapwood so that would have come out of over here somewhere. So we've got a bunch of these sets going. I think we have actually... I don't know what the current count is but if you want one of these or want some for Christmas get a few and save up for whatever you want them for. You better act now, I think it was last year or the year before we had 800 no we had 600 of these and we sold them in 8 hours. So if you want some get on it. They'll be on our website and they'll be in stock until they're out of stock so get them while you can.
